Abstract

metabolic disorders, focusing on its impact on glucose homeostasis.
Preclinical and clinical studies demonstrate that ALA can improve
insulin sensitivity, reduce oxidative stress, and enhance glucose
uptake by cells. These findings suggest ALA could be a valuable tool
for managing conditions like type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, and
polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
